Introduction

Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a tax on consumption levied in Singapore by the Inland Revenue Authority on most supplies of goods and services including imports.  There are exemptions from GST on certain supplies of Financial Services, the sale and lease of Residential Property, Supply of Digital Payment Tokens etc. 

 

The export of goods and supply of services abroad are zero rated. 

Note: GST is known as VAT in other jurisdictions.
